Operating and Setting Camera as Administrator
Since the light source setting is based on representative characteristics of each
type of lamp, correct color may not be reproduced depending on the actual lamp
used. In this case, use the One-Shot WB function.
If the image is greenish when shooting an object under a mercury lamp while the
White Balance option is set to “Auto”, select “Mercury Light” with the Light Source
option. If the image color is not yet correct after changing the light source to the
mercury lamp, return the setting to “Auto”.
When shooting images in day and night continuously.
If you shoot an object which shows little change in appearance in an environment
where the light source gradually changes (e.g., continuous outdoor shooting for
day and night), the video may show an incorrect color. In this case, use the pan,
tilt, or zoom function to give change to the image and the video will return to the
correct color.
If you shoot a single color object or shoot images under a sodium-vapor lighting or
mercury lighting, it may be difficult to adjust the color automatically.
Note
3 Lock
Fix adjusts the white balance using the video currently received. To forcibly adjust the
white balance, capture a white object (e.g., a piece of white paper) and click “One-Shot
WB”.
