The PING (Packet Internet Groper) command can determine whether a specic IP address is accessible by sending a packet to the specic
address and waiting for a reply. It can also provide a very useful tool to conrm if the IP address conicts with Camera over the network.
Follow the step-by-step procedure below to utilize the PING command but rst you must disconnect the Camera from the network.
Click on Start > Run and type in CMD
Type ping x.x.x.x, where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the Camera.
The replies, as illustrated below, will help diagnose any connection problems.
