WHITE BALANCE
For natural colors, choose a setting that matches
the light source (for an explanation of “white bal-
ance,” see the Glossary on page 84).

If AUTO does not produce the desired results (for
example, when taking close-ups), choose the op-
tion that matches the light source.

• Auto white balance is used with the  ash. Turn the
 a s h o  (pg. 21) to take pictures at other settings.
• Results vary with shooting conditions. Play pictures
back after shooting to check colors in the monitor.

CONTINUOUS (Continuous shooting)
CONTINUOUS (Continuous shooting)
Select m TOP 3 to capture motion in a series of
pictures. The camera takes up to three pictures
while the shutter-release button is pressed.
1 Notes
• The  ash turns o automatically (pg. 21), and focus
and exposure are determined by the  rst frame in
each series. The previously-selected  ash mode is re-
stored when OFF is selected for c CONTINUOUS.
Frame rate varies with shutter speed.
• The number of pictures that can
be recorded depends on the
memory available. Additional
time may be required to record
pictures when shooting ends.
The pictures are displayed in the
monitor while recording is in progress.
