SELF-TIMER PHOTOGRAPHY

The self-timer lamp lights steadily for roughly 5
seconds and then blinks for another 5 seconds,
after which the shot is taken.
The time until the shutter releases is shown as a
countdown bar on the LCD monitor and display
panel.
Self-timer mode is automatically cancelled after
each shot.

To stop the self-timer, once it has started running,
press the “BACK” button.

The self-timer is not cancelled for multi-exposure
shots.

You can check the countdown on the display panel
when the LCD monitor is switched off.

The sound recording time may be shorter than
30 seconds depending on the available space on the
SmartMedia.

Even if the LCD monitor is switched off, it
automatically switches on when you take a picture
using the voice captioning function. The LCD monitor
switches off again when audio recording ends.

If you do not want to record a voice captioning, press
the “BACK” button. Note that the image will still be
recorded.
This function can be selected in the “5”
photography mode.
Voice captioning allows you to record a voice
captioning (comment) up to 30 seconds long for
an image immediately after you take the shot.

Audio file size: Approx. 240 KB
(for a 30 seconds voice captioning)
Take a picture as normal. The “¶ ”
message then appears on the LCD monitor.
