Here are some important notes about the photo quality setting:
You can use different photo quality settings for different photos on the same memory
card.
The camera retains the current photo quality setting until you change it, even if you turn
the camera off.
Because photo quality affects the number of photos that can be stored on a memory
card, the number of available photos (displayed on the status LCD) changes as you
change the photo quality.
To change the photo quality:
1. Slide the lens cover open to turn the camera on.
2. Press the

button repeatedly until the quality
level you want is displayed on the status LCD.
