When you have not changed
Exposure Compensation for
2 seconds, the meter disappears,
but the value remains at the bottom
of the screen flanked by arrows
(unless it has been set to 0).
Exposure Compensation resets to
the default 0 (zero) setting when you
turn the camera off.
Setting the flash
NOTE The flash does not work while recording video clips.
The Flash button lets you toggle
between the four flash settings
on the camera. Auto is the
default flash setting. The flash
setting resets to Auto when you
turn the camera off.
To change the flash setting,
press the Flash button on the top of the camera until the Flash
Off , Flash On , or Night flash light is lit. The default
Auto flash setting is selected when none of the three
flash lights is lit. The following table describes the different
flash settings.
