NOTE The Pictures Remaining count at the bottom of the
screen updates when you select a new setting.
NOTE The Compression setting affects the number of images
that can be saved on your memory card. Fewer images
will be saved on the memory card at the Best setting than
at the default Better setting. Similarly, fewer images will be
saved at the default Better setting than at the Good
setting. See Memory card capacity on page 110.
Saturation
If you press OK when the Saturation
option is highlighted in the Capture
menu, the Saturation sub-menu
displays. This sub-menu allows you
to set how saturated the colors will
be in your captured images.
The following table describes the
Saturation settings. The default setting is Medium. The
Saturation setting remains set when you turn the camera off.
Icon Setting Description
Low The colors in your images will be
more muted.
None Medium The colors in your images will be
normally saturated.
High The colors in your images will be
more vivid.
