JVC GR-SXM920 Camcorder User Manual

NOTES:
The remaining number of shots varies according to the
selected Picture Mode. In the “STANDARD” mode,
twice as many still images can be shot as in the “FINE”
mode.
Some sample images have been stored in the built-in
memory at the factory. If you wish to delete them, first
remove the “Protect” function (
pg. 49), then perform
the “Delete” function (
pg. 50).
When the Power Switch is set to “AUTO”, it is not
possible to select the Snapshot mode. You can use the
Snapshot mode you selected in the “PRO.” mode.
If a Snapshot is taken while the camcorder is in the
WIDE mode (
pg. 31), the Snapshot image is
recorded without the black bars at the top and bottom of
the screen.
When the remaining number indicator displays “0”
(blinking), it is not possible to continue storing pictures
until you delete some shots to make room for new ones.
Perform “DELETE” function in the Menu Screen to
remove pictures you do not need (
pg. 50).
When SNAPSHOT is pressed with the System Select
Switch set to “VIDEO”, the picture is stored in the
camcorder's built-in memory (in the Snapshot mode
selected in the “VIDEO” system) and also onto the tape
(if a tape is in the camcorder) (
pg. 23).
When you shoot in a dark environment, the still image
will become coarse and its true colors will be lost.
* There is a momentary camera shutter-type blackout
together with the image.
** Continuous camera shutter-type blackout takes place 4
or 9 times with the image, like serial photography, then
the 4 or 9 still images you took are displayed.
