Extending battery life
■ Use a power-saving LCD Brightness setting (see page 35).
■ Charge the battery whenever necessary.
■ Battery performance is reduced at low temperatures. When using your camera in
cold weather, keep spare batteries warm. Do not discard cold batteries that do not
work; when they return to room temperature, they may be usable.
Care and maintenance
■ If you suspect water has gotten inside the camera, remove the battery and card.
Allow all components to air-dry for at least 24 hours before using the camera.
