Shooting Features
Features That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously
Certain features cannot be used simultaneously.

Flash mode
Continuous (A64)
When a setting other than Single is selected, the flash
cannot be used.
Blink proof (A64) When Blink proof is set to On, the flash cannot be used.
Self-timer Smile timer (A 64)
When Smile timer is used for shooting, the self-timer
cannot be used.
Image mode Continuous (A64)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the Image mode
setting is fixed at L (image size: 2560 × 1920 pixels).
White balance
Color options

When using Black-and-white, Sepia, or Cyanotype,
the White balance setting is fixed at Auto.
Continuous Self-timer (A56)
When using the self-timer, images are not captured
continuously even if Continuous or BSS is selected.
ISO sensitivity Continuous (A64)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the ISO sensitivity
setting is automatically specified according to the
brightness.
AF area mode
White balance
(A64)
When Target finding AF is selected and White
balance is set to any setting other than Auto, the
camera does not detect the main subject.
Motion detection
Continuous (A64)
When Continuous or Multi-shot 16 is selected,
Motion detection is disabled.
ISO sensitivity

When the ISO sensitivity is set to any setting other
than Auto, Motion detection is disabled.
Digital zoom Continuous (A64)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, digital zoom cannot
be used.
