Portions of pictures not related to
the “red eye” phenomenon are
affected
In-camera red-eye fix may, in very rare
circumstances, be applied to areas of
pictures not affected by “red eye” when
pictures are taken in A (auto with red-
eye reduction) flash mode, one-touch
portrait mode, or [B portrait] or [D
Night portrait] scene assist modes. Use a
different shooting mode or set flash to
z (auto) or J (fill flash).

taken with flash
Flash is reflecting off particles in air. Turn
flash off.
