Features That Can Be Set Using the Multi Selector
Shooting Features
4 When adjustment is complete, press J or K
to select y and press the k button.
If the k button (except when P is selected) or the
shutter-release button is pressed in step 3, the selected
amount of effect is applied. When the effect is applied,
the camera returns to the shooting screen.
If brightness is adjusted, H and the compensation
value are displayed.
If vividness is adjusted, a is displayed.
If hue is adjusted, b is displayed.
5 Press the shutter-release button to take a picture.

This feature may not be used in combination with certain features. See “Features That Cannot Be
Used Simultaneously” (A73) for more information.
A (auto) mode and continuous shooting mode share the same settings for Brightness (Exp. +/-)
(exposure compensation), Vividness, and Hue; these settings are saved in the camera’s memory
even when the camera is turned off.
