Shooting Functions

You can create a picture by taking multiple exposures and merging them
into a single image.

Select [Multi-exposure] in the [A Rec. Mode 2] menu, and
press the four-way controller (5).
The [Multi-exposure] screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Number of
Shots], and press the four-way controller (5).

Use the four-way controller (23)
to select the number of shots,
and press the 4 button.
Select from 2 to 9 shots.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Auto EV
Adjustment], and use the four-way controller (45) to
select O or P.
When set to O (On), the exposure is adjusted automatically according to
the number of shots.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Start
Shooting], and press the 4 button.
The camera is ready to take a series of interval pictures.
Multi-exposure
Multi-exposure is not available in the following situations.
- when [File Format] is set to [RAW] or [RAW+]
- when the capture mode is set to C (Movie) or u (Blur Control) mode, or
Z (Night Scene HDR)/w (Quick Macro)/p (HDR) of H (Scene)
mode
- when Digital Filter or HDR Capture is set
Multi-exposure cannot be used with Exposure Bracketing, Interval Shooting,
or Distortion Correction at the same time. (The function selected last is used.)
