Using the drive mode dial
Using the drive mode dial, you can change the burst mode or set the timer.
Icon Mode Description
10fps
•
High-speed burst mode (p. 55)
•
Select the number of photos to capture in
a high-speed burst. You can capture up to
10 photos in one burst.
5fps
3fps
Precapture
•
Use this mode to catch the first couple of
important shots. (p. 56)
•
Take a series of 8 photos when you press
the shutter halfway down and the last one
after you press the shutter.
1000fps
•
The number of frames per second for
recording videos
•
When you select 1000 FPS, 480 FPS,
or 240 FPS, you can record high-speed
videos. (p. 48)

Take a single photo.

Use a tripod to prevent blurry photos if you
shoot for a long time.

Set the timer to delay shooting. (p. 54)

Take a photo in 10 or 2 seconds.

Bracket
According to a bracketing option (p. 58),

Take 1 photo and create 8 photos with
different photo styles.

Take 3 photos with different white balance.

Take 3 photos with different exposures.
