Advanced operations
When you shoot, the indicator appears on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder. This
indicates that the SteadyShot function is working and the camcorder compensates for
camera-shake.
You can release the SteadyShot function when you do not need to use the SteadyShot
function. Do not use the SteadyShot function when shooting a stationary object with a
tripod.
(1) Press MENU to display the menu on the LCD screen.
(2)Turn the control dial to select STEADYSHOT, then press the control dial.
(3)Turn the control dial to select OFF, then press the control dial.
(4) Press MENU to erase the menu display.

To activate the SteadyShot function again
Select ON in step 3, then press the control dial.
Notes on the SteadyShot function
The SteadyShot function will not correct excessive camera-shake.
When you switch the SteadyShot function on or off, the exposure may fluctuate.
When the SteadyShot function is released, the indicator does not appear.
If you use a tele conversion lens (not supplied) or a wide conversion lens (not
supplied), the SteadyShot function may not work.
