Recording/Playback
The detected face images are displayed on
the index screen.
You can play back the movie from the
selected face image.
1 Turn on your camcorder.
2 Touch (HOME) t (VIEW
IMAGES) t [ INDEX].
3 Touch v/V to select the desired scene.
4 Touch b/B to search for the desired
face image, then touch the face image
you want to play back.
Playback starts from the selected face
image.
b Notes
• Faces may not be detected depending on
recording conditions.
Example: People wearing glasses or hats, or
who do not face towards the camera.
• Set [ INDEX SET] to [ON] before recording
to play back from [ INDEX] (the default
setting) (p. 67).
The face images do not appear if faces have not
detected.
z Tips
• You can change the image quality of a movie
you want to play back by touching
(OPTION) t [ / INDEX SET] on the
[ INDEX] screen.
You can magnify still images from about
1.1 to 5 times the original size.
Magnification can be adjusted with the
power zoom lever or the zoom buttons
below the LCD screen.
1 Play back the still images you want to
magnify.
2 Magnify the still image with T
(Telephoto).
The screen is framed.
3 Touch the screen at the point you want
to display in the center of the displayed
frame.
4 Adjust the magnification with W (Wide
angle)/T (Telephoto).
To cancel, touch .
You can search for desired images by date
efficiently.
