You can select how a 16:9 (wide) aspect ratio
picture appears in the viewfinder.
BLETTER BOX
Normal setting (standard type of screen)
SQUEZE (Squeeze)
Expands the picture vertically if black bands
at the top and bottom in 16:9 (wide) aspect
ratio are undesirable.
• When you can set the POWER switch to
(Still), [WIDE DISPLAY] or [VF WIDE DISP]
does not appear.

You can select data transfer speed used to
transfer data to your computer.
BAUTO
Sends data by switching automatically
between the Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0) and
the speed corresponding to USB1.1 (full
speed transfer).
FULL SPEED
Sends data corresponding to USB1.1 (full
speed transfer).
You can check the information recorded
automatically (data code) during playback.
BOFF
Data code is not displayed.
DATE/TIME
Displays the date and time of recorded
images.
CAMERA DATA
Displays the camera setting data of recorded
images.

The data code is displayed on the TV screen if
you connect your camcorder to a TV.
The indicator toggles through the following
sequences as you press DATA CODE on the
Remote Commander: DATE/TIME t
CAMERA DATA t OFF (no indication)(For
DCR-DVD305/DVD755).
Depending on the disc condition, bars [--:--:--]
appear.
The setting returns to [OFF] when you set the
POWER switch to OFF (CHG) for more than 12
hours.
