The <5> dial is used for AF point selection and selecting the desired
setting on the LCD monitor. This <
5> dial works only when the <7>
switch is set to <
1>.
There are three ways to use this <5> dial:
(1)
While pressing a button, turn the
<
5> dial.
¡In this way, you can select and set
various menu settings or set flash
exposure compensation. When you let
go of the button, the selected setting
takes effect.
¡You can also review and select images
on the LCD monitor with this dial.
(2)
After pressing a button, turn the
<
5> dial.
When you press a button, its function
remains on for 6 seconds (
9). During
this time, you can turn the <5> dial to
set the desired setting.
After the button turns off or if you press
the shutter button halfway, the camera
will be ready to shoot.
¡In this way, you can select the AF point
or set the exposure compensation.
(3)
Turn the <
5> dial only.
While turning the <5> dial, look at the
setting in the viewfinder or on the top
LCD panel.
¡In this way, you can set the aperture in
the camera’s manual exposure mode.
