Using a Memory Card

2. Press the CARD STILL/MOVIE button.
• The camcorder displays the movie playback mode.
• The last recorded movie appears with the first scene as a still
image.
• Pressing the CARD STILL/MOVIE button takes you back to the still image playback
mode.
3. Press the CARD + button to display the next movie
and the CARD – button to display the previous
movie.
4. Press the e/a button to play back the movie.
• The first scene appears as a still image when playback is
complete.
• Pressing the e/a button during playback pauses the playback.
Press the e/a button again to restart playback.
• Pressing the 3 button displays the first scene of the movie.
• Press the CARD + button for fast forward playback and the CARD – button for fast
reverse playback.
Movies recorded in Motion JPEG format with another Canon camcorder will be
displayed in still image playback mode (indicated with e/a). The 3 button
cannot be used during playback of Motion JPEG movies.
Movies not recorded with this camcorder may not be played back correctly.
Index Screen
In movie playback mode, the index screen can be displayed when is shown
on the lower right of the movie.
1. Move the zoom lever toward W.
Up to 6 images appear.
2. Press the CARD +/– button to change the image
selection.
For movies, press the CARD STILL/MOVIE button.
