4 Select [New File] or [Overwrite]
and press the SET button.
z[New File] saves the edited movie
under a new file name. The pre-edit
data is left unchanged. Note, if you
press the SET button while saving the
movie, saving is canceled.
z[Overwrite] saves the edited movie
with its original name. The pre-edit data is lost.
zWhen there is not enough space left on the memory card, only
[Overwrite] can be selected, and S appears on the counter of the
movie editing bar
It may take approximately 3 minutes to save an edited movie.
If the battery runs out of charge partway through, edited
movieclips cannot be saved. When editing movies, it is
recommended to use new size-AA alkaline batteries, or fully
charged size-AA NiMH batteries, or the separately sold
Compact Power Adapter CA-PS700 (p. 139).
