Make settings.
1. Use the or button to select
[Face Detect].
2. Press the button.
• Up to three frames display where the
camera detects faces. The frame the
camera judges to be the main subject appears in white while the
others appear in gray.
• See Selecting a Subject to Focus (When [Face Detect] is
Selected) (p. 119).

Shoot.
• A maximum of 9 green AF frames will appear when the shutter
button is pressed halfway and the camera focuses. If the
camera cannot focus, the AF frames will not appear.
