c. Use the or button to highlight the new setting you
want for that menu option.
d. Press the Menu/OK button to select that setting and
return to the My Mode Capture Menu.
4 Repeat step 3 for each menu option setting you want to
change.
5 When you have finished changing settings in the My Mode
Capture Menu, press the Live View button on the back
of the camera to exit the My Mode Capture Menu and
return to Live View. The icon and the icons for the
settings you selected for My Mode are now displayed in Live
View.
The settings you selected are automatically saved and remain
set in My Mode even if you switch to a different shooting mode
or turn the camera off. To change any of the settings you
selected in My Mode, repeat steps 1 through 5.
Using the My Mode Saved Settings
Sub-Menu
You can further customize how My Mode works by using the
My Mode Saved Settings sub-menu. This sub-menu allows you
to specify exactly which settings you would like to save in My
Mode and which you would like to return to their defaults when
you turn the camera off. The My Mode Saved Settings sub-
menu also has a menu option called Start in My Mode where
you can specify that the camera start in My Mode instead of
Auto mode each time you turn the camera on.
1 Press the Mode button on the top of the camera to toggle
through the shooting modes until you see My Mode and the
icon in the status screen.
