Editing movies
This function lets you create indexes as well as edit movies. However, you
cannot edit movies of the following lengths:
Movies without sound: Longer than approximately 20 seconds in SHQ
mode, 70 seconds in HQ mode, or 300 seconds in
SQ mode
Movies with sound: Longer than approximately 20 seconds in SHQ
mode, 70 seconds in HQ mode, or 300 seconds in
SQ mode
INDEX 9 frames extracted from a movie are displayed as an index to
show the movie at a glance. Indexes can be stored on the card
as a still picture.
EDIT This function lets you erase parts of the movie that you do not
want.

picture with n.

3 Press ac to select INDEX, then
press e.
• When there is insufficient card memory, a
warning screen appears and the display
returns to the setting screen.
