Recording Pictures supplied

1 Turn the SD Video Camera off and put in
the USB Cradle. (l 10)

Connect the [AV IN/OUT] terminal of the
USB Cradle to the AV Output Sockets of the
external device

using supplied AV Cable

3 Turn on the SD Video Camera and set the
Record/Play mode Switch to [ ] and
then, set the operation mode to
[PICTURE] or [MPEG4].
4 Press the [MENU] Button and then, select
[Setup] and press the Jog Ball.
5 Set [Input select] to [Line] and press the
[MENU] Button.
≥The [ ] indication appears.
6 Select desired image quality. (l 22, 24)
7 Press the [MENU] Button.
8 Set up the external device.
≥Confirm that the image or sound signal is input
into the SD Video Camera.
≥In the [MPEG4] mode, when rotating the Zoom
Lever to [W], you can mute the sound from the
speaker. (The volume of the sound cannot be
changed. You can output the sound again when
rotating the Zoom Lever to [T].)
9 Press the Recording Start/Stop Button.
≥Recording starts.
≥When the moving picture is being recorded,
press the Recording Start/Stop Button again to
stop recording.
≥While this camera can record audio from an external
device, the audio connection should only be
connected to the “line” output of the external device.
This is normally an “RCA” type of connector. Do not
attempt to connect audio directly from the
speaker output of any device. Doing so will cause
serious damage to this device.
