The settings relating to JPEG, H.264 and MPEG-4 images such as the settings of image quality, audio, etc.
can be configured on this page.

and the [Audio] tab

11.1 Configure the settings relating to the picture
(camera) mode [JPEG/H.264] (NP502, NW502S)
Click the [JPEG/H.264] tab on the “Image/Audio” page. (®page 42, page 44)
[Picture (Camera) mode]
Select the picture (camera) mode from the combinations of the maximum number of pixels and the aspect
ratios below.
1.3 mega pixel (VGA) [4:3]
1.3 mega pixel (800x600) [4:3]
1.3 mega pixel [16:9]
3 mega pixel [4:3]
3 mega pixel [16:9]
Default: 1.3 mega pixel (VGA) [4:3]
Note
When this setting is changed, the camera will reboot automatically.
Aspect ratio of “16:9”, or “1.3 mega pixel (800x600) [4:3]” is unavailable for the MPEG-4 images.
When selecting “1.3 mega pixel (800x600) [4:3]”, “1.3 mega pixel [16:9]”, or “3 mega pixel [16:9]” for
“Picture (Camera) mode”, “H.264” is automatically set for “Video encoding format”.
Check the following before changing the picture (camera) mode setting from a 1.3 mega pixel setting
to a 3 mega pixel setting.
“QVGA” is not selected for “Image capture size” of “JPEG”.
“QVGA” is not selected for “Image capture size” of “SD memory card”. (®page 57)
“QVGA” is not selected for “Image capture size” of “Alarm image”. (®page 138)
“QVGA” is not selected for “Image capture size” of “FTP periodic image transmission”.
