Proper Care and Storage
• Keep dirt from entering the camcorder’s cassette tape door. Dust and grit are abrasive
and cause excessive wear to both the recording/playback heads and tapes.
• Always cap the lens when the camcorder is not in use.
• Before handling the camcorder, make sure your hands and face are free from any
chemical products such as suntan lotion, as it might damage the finish.
• The camcorder might be damaged by improper storage or handling. Do not subject the
camcorder to swinging, shaking, or dropping.
• Do not store the camcorder in temperatures below -22˚F (-30˚C) or above 149˚F (65˚C).
• When the camcorder is not in use, always remove the tape and AC power supply/
charger or battery.
• Retain the original carton for future storage or shipping purposes.
