Working with contacts
The MSN Messenger screen shows all of your messenger
contacts at a glance, divided into
Online
and
Not Online
categories. From this view, while connected, you can
start a chat by tapping a contact in the list.
If you tap and hold a contact in the list, a pop-up menu
displays. You can send e-mail, block the contact from
chatting with you, or delete contact from your list using
the pop-up menu.
Note
: To see others online without being seen, on the
MSN
Messenger screen, tap
Tools
→
My Status
→
Appear
Offline
. If you block a contact, you will appear offline
but will remain on the blocked contact’s list. To unblock
a contact, tap and hold the contact and select
Unblock
from the pop-up menu.
Tap a contact to
start a chat.
