Windbreak
Available mode:
TAPE-CAMERA
The windbreak function allows you to reduce
annoying noise from strong winds when
recording.
1 In TAPE-CAMERA mode, press the
MENU button until the menu screen
appears.
2 Press l or m on the operation button
to select U, then press the SET button.
3 Press l or m to select “WIND”, then
press the SET button.
4 Press l or m to select “ON”, then press
the SET button.
5 Press the MENU button to turn off the
menu screen.
To cancel Windbreak
Select “OFF” in step 4 above.
Note:
• Keep the windbreak function off during normal
recording. If left on, the recorded audio may
sound somewhat muffled when played back.
When the zoom microphone is active, the zoom
range indicator changes as shown below.
Note:
• When you set the ZOOM MIC menu item to
“TELE”, the zoom indicator always stays at the
maximum point. Refer to the number to the right
of “ZOOM” for the current magnification.
