Charging the built-in
rechargeable battery
Your camcorder is supplied with a built-in
rechargeable battery installed to retain the date
and time, etc., regardless of the setting of the
POWER switch. The built-in rechargeable battery
is always charged as long as you are using your
camcorder. The battery, however, will become
discharged gradually if you do not use your
camcorder. It will be completely discharged in
about half a year if you do not use your
camcorder at all. Even if the built-in rechargeable
battery is not charged, it will not affect
camcorder operation. To retain the date, time,
and other information, charge the battery if the
battery is discharged.
Charging the built-in rechargeable battery:
•Connect your camcorder to wall socket using
the AC power adaptor supplied with your
camcorder, and leave your camcorder with the
POWER switch turned off for more than 24
hours.
•Or, install a fully charged battery pack in your
camcorder, and leave your camcorder with the
POWER switch set to OFF (CHG) for more than
24 hours.

De ingebouwde oplaadbare
batterij in uw camcorder
opladen
Uw camcorder wordt geleverd met een
ingebouwde oplaadbare batterij die zorgt dat de
gegevens als datum en tijd e.d. bewaard blijven,
ongeacht de stand van de POWER schakelaar.
Zolang u de camcorder blijft gebruiken, wordt de
oplaadbare batterij steeds automatisch
opgeladen. Wanneer u de camcorder echter
geruime tijd niet gebruikt, zal de batterij
geleidelijk leeg raken. Als u de camcorder
helemaal niet gebruikt, zal de batterij na
ongeveer een half jaar helemaal leeg zijn. De
werking van de camcorder wordt daar verder
niet door verstoord. Maar om de gegevens als
datum en tijd e.d. in stand te houden, zult u de
lege batterij opnieuw moeten opladen, op een
van de volgende twee manieren.
Opladen van de ingebouwde oplaadbare
batterij:
•Sluit de camcorder met de bijgeleverde
netspanningsadapter aan op het stopcontact en
laat het apparaat zo meer dan 24 uur
ongebruikt staan, met de POWER schakelaar in
de uit-stand.
•Is er geen stopcontact in de buurt, plaats dan
een volledig opgeladen batterijpak in de
camcorder en laat het apparaat zo meer dan 24
uur ongebruikt staan, met de POWER
schakelaar in de “OFF (CHG)” stand.
