10 Assigning the IP Address to the Camera
1 Using a commercially available
Ethernet cable, connect the
10BASE-T port to a hub in the
network.
Use a UTP Category 5 straight cable for
the connection.
2 Connect the power cord to the
AC power adaptor (both
supplied), and connect the DC
IN 12 V connector of the camera
to an AC outlet.
• To avoid the risk of damaging the data,
turn off the power of the equipment to be
connected before connecting an Ethernet
cable.
• Plug the connectors of the Ethernet cable
fully to the end. A loose connection may
cause noise. To unplug the connector, pull
out by the connector itself.
