Troubleshooting
The built-in flash or the
optional external flash
(HVL-F32X or HVL-F1000)
does not work.
The mode dial is not set to , P, S, A, M, SCN
or (Clip Motion).
The flash is set to (No flash).
The (Twilight mode) is selected for the
Scene Selection function.
The (Landscape mode), (Snow mode) or
(Beach mode) is selected for the Scene
Selection function.
[Moving Image] in the SET UP settings is set to
[MPEG Movie] or [Multi Burst].
[Mode] (REC Mode) in the menu settings is set
to [Burst 3] or [Exp Brktg].
[Hot Shoe] in the SET UP settings is set to [On].
NightShot is activated.
p Set it to , P, S, A, M, SCN or (Clip Motion) (pages 20
and 58).
p Set the flash to auto (No indicator), (Forced flash) or
(Slow synchro) (page 26).
p Set it to other settings (page 63).
p Set the flash to (Forced flash) (page 26).
p Set it to [Clip Motion].
p Set it to other settings.
p Set it to [Off] (pages 39 and 116).
p Set to NIGHTFRAMING or cancel the NightShot function

The macro function does
