Zooming Images to Be Photographed
Determine how much the image is to be zoomed.
Pressing the Direction button towards the T (Tele)
increases the zooming ratio.
Pressing the Direction button towards the W (Wide)
decreases the zooming ratio.
You may also tap and hold the zoom icons [
/ ] on the screen to change
the zooming ratio.
The zooming ratio is switched from 1x to 2x using the optical zoom and from 2x
to 4x using the digital zoom.
Press the shutter button down halfway, then press it
down fully.
Notes
Using the digital zoom decreases the image quality while it allows a greater image
enlargement on the screen.
The selected zoom ratio is not automatically cancelled when an image is photographed
and saved.
The selected zoom ratio is automatically cancelled when the power is turned off or when
the Auto Power Off is activated.
You can enlarge the subject on the LCD monitor up to a ratio of 4 times.
