9.4.7 Encoder Profile
Adapt the video data transmission to the operating environment
(network structure, bandwidth, data structures). The camera
simultaneously generates two H.264 video streams, an I-frame
only stream and an M-JPEG stream. Select the compression
settings of these streams individually, for example, one setting
for transmissions to the Internet and one for LAN connections.
The settings are made individually for each stream.
Pre-programmed profiles
Eight definable profiles are available. The pre-programmed
profiles give priority to different parameters.
– HD high quality / low latency
High resolution for high bandwidth connections
– HD high quality
High resolution with lower data rate
– HD low bandwidth
High resolution for low bandwidth connections
– SD high quality / low latency
4CIF/D1 resolution for connections at 4000 kbps maximum
– SD high quality
CIF resolution for connections at 3000 kbps maximum
– SD low bandwidth
CIF resolution for connections at 1500 kbps maximum
– DSL
CIF resolution for connections at 500 kbps maximum
– ISDN (2B)
CIF resolution for connections at 100 kbps maximum
