decreased sufficiently.

- The data transfer rate was too high for the SD card in use and the recording was stopped. Use a recommended card
(A 38).
*A/*B Cannot record movies on this memory card
- Video cannot be recorded on a 64 MB or smaller SD card. Use a recommended card (A 38).

*A/*B May not be possible to record movies on this memory card

*A/*B Memory card is write-protected
- The LOCK switch on the SD card is set to prevent accidental erasure. Change the position of the LOCK switch.
*A/*B Number of clips already at maximum

- Because both SD cards reached the maximum number of clips, double slot recording is not available.
During double slot recording, both “*A” and “*B” will appear in the message.
*A/*B Reached the recording limit for one clip. Recording was stopped.
- When recording a single clip for an extended period of time, the clip will be split into smaller video files every 2 GB.

*A/*B Recording was stopped.
- The file control information is corrupted or there was an encoder error. Turn off the camcorder and back on again.
Then, remove the SD card being used and reinsert it. Alternatively, replace the SD card. If this does not solve the
problem, consult a Canon Service Center.
Corrupted file control information cannot be recovered. SD cards or clips with corrupt file control information cannot
be read by the supplied software, Data Import Utility.
*AJ*B / *BJ*A Switched
- This message appears when you use the SLOT SELECT button to switch the SD card slot in use or recording
continued from one SD card to the other.
*AJ*B / *BJ*A Will switch in a moment
- The SD card is almost full so recording will continue on the other SD card in approximately 1 minute.
