When the person shooting wishes to join in a group photo, the self-timer can
be used to shoot. Approximately 10 seconds after the shutter button is
pressed, the camera will take the photo.
Press the p button.
Select Ò.
Press the op buttons or turn the  dial
to select Ò, then press the m button.
XOnce set, Ò will appear.
Shoot.
Press the shutter button halfway to focus
on the subject, then press fully.
XWhen the self-timer starts, the lamp blinks
and the self-timer sound plays.
XTwo seconds before the shutter releases,
the lamp and sound speed up (the lamp
remains lit when the flash will fire).
To return to the original setting, select
in Step 2.

You can change the delay time and number of shots taken (p. 75).
