AUTO POWER OFF
To save the battery power, this camera will turn off automatically if it is not operated for more than 3
minutes. (Auto Power Off function)
To operate the camera, slide the power switch to turn on the camera again.
• When using the batteries, the time for the auto power off function can be changed to 1 minute, 5
minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes. See page 117 for details.
When using the AC adapter (sold separately), this camera will turn off automatically if it is not
operated for more than 30 minutes. The time for the auto power off function is fixed at 30 minutes.
We recommend you use the AC adapter (sold separately) when using the camera indoors where an
AC outlet can be used to supply power to the camera or when connecting the camera to a computer
for editing the images.
Be sure to turn off the power of the camera when changing the power supply from the batteries to the
AC adapter or vice versa. Do not change it when the camera is turned on.

Connect the mini plug on the AC adapter to the DC terminal
on the camera.
The shape of the mini plug may vary depending on the AC adapter.

Connect the power plug on the AC adapter to an AC outlet.
