SPECIFYING THE WHITE BALANCE MODE
Auto white balance
Automatically adjusts white balance according to light source incident on the CCD.
Daylight mode
Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by sunlight.
Light bulb mode
Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by an incandescent
light or tungsten light.
Fluorescent mode
Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject illuminated by a fluorescent light.
Cloudy mode
Select this mode when taking a picture of the subject on a cloudy day.
WB Preset mode
Select this mode by using the WB preset white balance setting.
* WB Preset means measuring the white point from a white sheet of paper or card (or
nearby wall), the camera will then record that temperature and use it to correct all
images until you reset it.
This camera has 6 white balance modes.
AUTO
1 Rotate the function dial to and press the MENU button.
• The recording mode menu is displayed on the LCD monitor.
