Press the MENU button.
• The exposure compensation value is specified and displayed on the
upper- right side of the LCD monitor (see page 36).

Press the shutter-release button all the way down to take
picture.
* To cancel the exposure compensation function, follow the operation steps described above and
specify 0 for the exposure compensation value, or turn the camera off and on again.
* When the image to be captured is whitish, increase the exposure compensation value so that the
white part can be easily represented. When the image to be captured is blackish decrease the
exposure compensation value so that the black part can be easily represented.

Press the or key to select the desired exposure
compensation value and press the key to save the
setting.
• The exposure compensation value (from +2.0 to –2.0) can be changed by
increments of 0.3.
