6.1 Record Programming for sets with ShowView

The recorder transfers the VIDEO Plus+
code number into the actual recording
data.
If you want to change the stop-time;
press the
ɶ
button once. The current
stop-time appears on the display of the
recorder.
Each time the
ɶ
button is pressed, 15
minutes are added to the current stop-
time.
The message »
CODE ERR
« appears
on the display in case of incorrect
entry, repeat entry. Observe instruc-
tions on this page.
3. Transmitting the data to the
recorder

Possible messages on recorder display
If the following messages appear on the recorder display …
CODE ERR
indicates an incomplete entry,
or
the VIDEO Plus+ number code in the pro-
gramme journal is incorrect.
VP ERR
means that the programme position has not
been assigned a ShowView number. Carry out
settings in chapter 2.1.
DLY ERR
You have selected a daily recording on Satur-
day or Sunday which is not possible.
REST
and
FULL
a cassette with insufficient playing time
was loaded.
If the sum of all recording times is
greater than the total playing time of the
loaded cassette, the recorder will
record up to the end of the tape.
The recorder will then automatically
rewind the cassette all the way to the
beginning and then switch to stop.
FULL
all TIMER positions of the recorder are
occupied.
REST
and
—:—
the playing time of the cassette was not
recognized.
REST
and
CASS
no cassette is loaded.
COLL
The TIMER recording times overlap
each other.

Fast programming with the Teletext Pages
of the TV Stations,
Preparation
Switch the TV set on.
Select the programme position for the video recorder on the
TV set (serves as a monitor when entering data).

1. Selecting a TV programme or a TV
programme from the satellite receiver

Enter the programme positions 1 to 9
as one digit,
enter the programme positions 10 to 60
as two digits.
In the case of satellite programmes,
press the
u
button before entering
the TV programme.
Pull out the second level of the remote control.
Insert a cassette with sufficient playing time which is not pro-
tected against recording.
A cursor

is positioned next to the
starting time of the first broadcast on
the Teletext programme summary.
The Teletext page depends on the entry
made in the "TV Station Table" .
If you selected a satellite programme,
Teletext page 100 appears. Select the
desired programme summary with the
numbered buttons

You can call up further Teletext pages with
the numbered buttons

After having selected a page, you must
press the
O
button; the cursor will
appear after a few moments.
If a Teletext summary that is com-
prised of several pages has been
called up, press the
O
button
when the required page is visible;
the cursor will then appear after a
few moments.
