Setting Video Flash* (see
“Introduction to Optional
Accessories” on page 164)
When recording stills in a dark place, or the subject
is lit from rear, it is recommended that you use the
optional DZ-FLH3 Video Flash: Refer to the
instruction manual of Video Flash for use.
* Unusable on DZ-MV350E.
Note:
The DVD video camera/recorder automatically sets the
shutter speed between 1/800 and 1/30 second (between
1/800 and 1/10 second if Program AE has been set to
Low Light) depending on the subject brightness.
During recording of stills, the electronic image stabilizer
will not function.
See “Switching Quality of Still Image (Quality)” on
page 86 if you want to change the still quality mode.
However, dark subjects may not be in clear focus even if
the Video Flash is used. It is recommended that you light
a subject when recording in a dark place.
