in surveillance situations in which the object is very
small.
DSP with a wide dynamic range
Even objects that have a large difference in bright-
ness can be monitored clearly.
Day/Night surveillance
When the light is low, the camera pictures can be
switched automatically to black and white pictures.
The camera is also compatible with IR illumination
(wavelength 850 nm to 880 nm).

This camera cannot be used outdoors if the op-
tional outdoor housing is not attached.
This camera has been designed to be hung from
a ceiling with its base uppermost.
Do not install it in an upside down position on
surface or at an angle, as this may cause mal-
function or a noticeable shortening of its ser-
vice life.
Do not install or use the camera in the following
locations.
In a place exposed to rain or water.
In a place containing vapor or oil soot, for ex-
ample in a kitchen.
In a place outside the operating temperature
range 0˚C to 50˚C (32˚F to 122˚F).
Near a source of strong radio waves or mag-
netism, radiation or X-rays.
In a place where corrosive gasses are gener-
ated.
In a place subject to vibrations.
In a place with excessive dust.
Insufficient ventilation of the camera may cause
a malfunction. Be careful not to block ventila-
tion to the camera. This unit radiates heat from
the panel surfaces (top panel and side panels).
