C Functions Available in Movie Recording
The exposure compensation and White balance settings in shooting menu (A61) are also
applied with movie recording.
When macro mode is enabled, movies of subjects closer to the camera can be recorded. Confirm
settings before starting movie recording.
The self-timer (A53) can be used. If the self-timer is set and the b (e movie-record) button is
pressed, the camera starts movie recording after 10 or 2 seconds.
The flash does not fire.
Press the d button before starting to record the movie to display the e (movie) menu icon
and select movie menu settings (A86).
C Recording HS (High Speed) Movies
When Movie options (A86) in movie menu is set to k HS 240/8×, h HS 480/4×, i HS
720/2× or j HS 1080/0.5×, movies that can be played back in slow motion or fast motion can
be recorded.
