Notes on memorizing, loading shooting data with the F5
• Shooting data cannot be memorized until the camera has been loaded with
film.
• Month, day, hour, minute, second and imprinted letters items can be memorized
only when the Multi-Control Back MF-28 is attached.
• When shooting multiple exposures, the selected data items will be loaded for first
exposure.
• When the camera is loaded with
film,
shooting data is always memorized — even
for test shooting.
• To delete shooting data from the camera's memory, select "Delete" on the F5
Shooting Data dialog box (see page 26) or select "Delete old data" as an option
with full data.
• If the camera's memory becomes full after you have selected data loading options
that activates the full-memory warning, the personal computer connection symbol
blinks in the camera's rear LCD panel.
• If you select "Delete old data" as an option with full data, memorizing new data
when the camera's memory is full deletes the old data.
(The personal computer symbol in the rear LCD panel blinks telling that some data
has been deleted.) Frequent downloading of shooting data is recommended. For
data storage capacity, see page 27.
• If you change the film speed with the frame counter showing
"1"
or higher, this will
not affect the shooting data. The previous set film speed will be memorized for the
shooting data download operation.
