Troubleshooting
If your camera fails to function as expected, check the list of common prob-
lems below before consulting your retailer or Nikon representative. Refer to
the page numbers listed in the rightmost column for information on solving
the problems listed here.
Monitor is blank
•Camera is off.
•Battery is not correctly inserted.
•Battery is exhausted.
•AC adapter kit (available separately) is not
properly connected.
•Camera is in sleep mode. Press shutter-release
button halfway.
•USB cable is connected.
