Autofocus Mode
Set how the camera focuses when shooting still images.

C Autofocus Mode for Movie Recording
Autofocus mode for movie recording can be set with Autofocus mode (E85) in
the movie menu.

Option Description
A Single AF
The camera focuses only when the shutter-release
button is pressed halfway.
B
Full-time AF
(default setting)
The camera continues focusing even when the
shutter-release button is not pressed halfway. The
sound of lens drive movement is heard while the
camera focuses.

Option Description
+0.3 to +2.0
The flash output is increased from +0.3 to +2.0 EV, in
increments of 1/3 EV, to make the main subject of the frame
appear brighter.
0.0 (default setting) The flash output is not adjusted.
-0.3 to -2.0
The flash output is reduced from –0.3 to –2.0 EV, in
increments of 1/3 EV, to prevent unwanted highlights or
reflections.
