Self-timer shooting
This function is useful for taking pictures where you want to be included in the
photograph. Fix the camera securely on a tripod or set it on a level surface for
self-timer shooting.
1 Press the power switch.
• The camera turns on in the shooting
mode.
• The lens extends and the monitor turns
on.
• The orange lamp lights.
2 Press ( ).
• The self-timer setting screen is displayed.
3 Press to select [ON], and
press .
• If not used for about 3 seconds, the
camera applies the current settings, and
the setting screen disappears.
