BACKUP - Copying pictures to a card
You can copy (backup) all the image data stored in the internal memory to the
card. The image data in the internal memory is not erased by copying it to the
card.
The optional card is required to use the BACKUP function. Operate the
camera with the card is inserted.
1 Select [BACKUP] from the menu,
and press .

This function can be set either in the
shooting mode or the playback mode.
2 Press to select [YES], and
press .
All image data stored in the internal
memory is copied to the card.
Press to exit the menu.
When the card has insufficient memory, CARD FULL is displayed and
copying is canceled.
When the mark is blinking, pictures cannot be backed up because
of insufficient battery power.
If the battery power runs out during copying, the image data may be lost
or damaged. You are recommended to use the AC adapter.
Never open the battery compartment/card cover, remove the batteries,
or connect or disconnect the AC adapter during copying as this may
cause malfunction of the internal memory or the card.
