« Using the Remote Controller

Set the [POWER ON/OFF] Switch on the
Camera Recorder to [ON].
¡ When the [CAMERA] Lamp lights, you can use the
recording functions. 1
¡ If you want to use the playback functions, press the
[VCR/CAMERA] Button so that the [VCR] Lamp
lights. 2
2 Aim the Remote Controller at the
Remote Control Sensor on the Camera
Recorder and press the appropriate
button.
Distance to the Camera Recorder: Less than
5 meters.
Angle: Approximately 15° up, down, left and right
from center axis.
♦ The operative range described above is valid for using
the Remote Controller indoors.
When using it outdoors or under strong lights, it may
not work correctly even within the above range.
¡ Within a distance of about 1 meter, it is also possible to
use the Remote Controller from the left side.
Selecting the Remote Controller Mode
When using two Camera Recorders at the same time,
selecting different Remote Controller Modes makes it
possible to operate them separately.
♦ If the Remote Controller Mode set on the Camera
Recorder and on its Remote Controller are not
matched, the [REMOTE] Indication appears.
♦ Replacing the button-type battery in the Remote
Controller automatically resets it to the [VCR1] Mode.
¡ Set [REMOTE] on the Menu to the desired Remote
Controller Mode. (m 61-64)
3 Press the [ ] Button and the [B] Button
simultaneously.
This selects the [VCR2] Mode.
4 Press the [O] Button and the [B] Button
simultaneously.
This selects the [VCR1] Mode.

Mettre l’interrupteur [POWER ON/OFF]
du caméscope sur [ON].
¡ Lorsque le témoin [CAMERA] est allumé, il est
possible d’utiliser les fonctions d’enregistrement. 1
¡ Pour utiliser les fonctions de lecture, appuyer sur la
touche [VCR/CAMERA] de manière que le témoin
[VCR] s’allume. 2

Pointer la télécommande vers le
capteur de télécommande du
caméscope et appuyer sur la touche
adéquate.
Distance au caméscope: moins de cinq mètres.
Angle: Environ 15u vers le haut, le bas, la gauche et
la droite par rapport à l’axe central.
♦ La plage d’utilisation décrite ci-dessus est applicable
pour l’utilisation de la télécommande en intérieur.
Si l’on utilise la télécommande en plein air ou sous un
éclairage intense, elle risque de ne pas fonctionner
correctement, même dans la limite de la plage indiquée
ci-dessus.
¡ A une distance maximale d’environ un mètre, il est
aussi possible d’utiliser la télécommande sur le côté
gauche.
Sélection du mode de télécommande
Si l’on utilise simultanément deux télécommandes, on
pourra utiliser séparément les deux télécommandes en
sélectionnant des modes de télécommande différents.
♦ Si le mode de télécommande réglé sur le caméscope
et celui réglé sur sa télécommande ne correspondent
pas, l’indication [REMOTE] apparaît.
♦ Lorsqu’on remplace la pile-bouton de la
télécommande, celle-ci sera automatiquement remise
au mode [VCR1].
¡ Régler l’élément [REMOTE] du menu au mode de
télécommande désiré. (m 61-64)
3 Appuyer simultanément sur la touche [ ] et sur
la touche [»].
Ceci sélectionne automatiquement le mode [VCR2].
4 Appuyer simultanément sur la touche [O] et sur
la touche [»].
Ceci sélectionne automatiquement le mode [VCR1].
