Taking Pictures
You can use the zoom to change the captured area.
1 Turn the Zoom/w/x lever in A
mode.
Zoom lever (w) :Diminishes the subject
(Wide).
Zoom lever (x) :enlarges the subject.
As you continue to turn the lever, the
camera automatically switches from optical
zoom to intelligent zoom.
Once the lever is released and turned
again, the camera switches to Digital Zoom.
The zoom bar is displayed as follow.
*1 You can zoom in to a maximum of 5x optically.
*2 The Intelligent Zoom range differs depending on the recorded
pixels. See the following table.
