Taking Pictures
Saving the Settings
You can choose whether you want the set values to be saved when the
camera is turned off. If you select
O (On), the settings will be saved in
the status they were in immediately before the camera was turned off. If
you select
P (Off), the settings will be reset to the defaults when the
camera is turned off.
Saving the Menu Items (Memory)

Flash The flash mode setting on the b button is saved.

Drive
The drive mode setting (gjh) selected using the
four-way controller (2) is saved.

Focus Mode
The focus mode setting on the ) button is
saved.
P
Zoom Position
The optional zoom position setting on the Zoom
button is saved.

MF The manual focus position is saved.
P
White Balance
The [White Balance] setting on the [A Rec.Mode]
menu is saved.
P
AE Metering
The [AE Metering] setting on the [A Rec.Mode]
menu is saved.
P
Sensitivity
The [Sensitivity] setting on the [A Rec.Mode] menu
is saved.
P
EV Compensation
The [EV Compensation] setting on the
[A Rec.Mode] menu is saved.
P
Digital Zoom
The [Digital Zoom] setting on the [A Rec.Mode]
menu is saved.
O
Display The LCD monitor display mode is saved.
P
File No.
The file number is saved. If a new SD Memory Card
is inserted, file numbers are assigned sequentially.
O
Menu items not included in [Memory] will also be saved in the
settings selected on the menus for each function when the camera
is turned off.
The zoom position setting in the digital zoom range will not be
saved even if [Zoom Position] is set to O(On) in [Memory].
[Memory] can be set separately in User mode and other capture
modes.
